What is the Woodacre & San Geronimo Flats Wastewater Group?
We are a group of community volunteers who have been meeting since 2007 to address failing septic systems and the pollution of our creeks. We are fed up with sewage flowing off private property into our streets in wet weather. We want to create a community-based solution that benefits the environment, public health and property owners. We live in Woodacre and San Geronimo and encourage our neighbors to join us in addressing this important problem.
We believe that by working together, and with the County, we can come up with the best and most cost effective solution – for both people and natural resources. If you would like more information please read the documents on this webpage, or give us a call. If you are a property owner in the project study area, we’d appreciate your support for our process – you can help us by completing the petition available here. If you would like to receive updates, click here to sign up for email. Letters of endorsement from local community organizations are greatly appreciated – see the Background page for a selection of letters received.
